Recycling with children

?? Yesterday, 27th of Spetember we went to the kindergarten in Arzúa to do some activites with the children.

First Daniel introduced them a little bit Estonia – showed them estonian flag and taught how to say hello (tere) and thank you (aitäh) in estonian. Gala also showed them flag of Gran Canaria and some words that are different from spanish.

Next we did some crafts from the toilet paper rolls and from bottles (that we found while cleaning the camino) to show the kids that we don’t have to always throw everything away, but we can make something new out of it.

First we coloured the salt with the chalks and put it in the bottles. As we were in five groups, every group made one bottle and the final results were very beautiful.

Second craft was to make dragons out of the toilet paper rolls. Children went crazy with this one, making dragon noises and running around – they liked it.

?? Ayer 27 de septiembre fuimos a la guardería de Arzúa a hacer unas actividades con los niños.

Primero, Daniel les presentó un poco de Estonia: les mostró la bandera de Estonia y les enseñó cómo decir hola (tere) y gracias (aitäh) en estonio. Gala también les mostró la bandera de Gran Canaria y algunas palabras que son diferentes del español.

Luego hicimos algunas manualidades con los rollos de papel higiénico y las botellas (que encontramos mientras limpiamos el camino) para mostrarles a los niños que no siempre tenemos que tirar todo, pero podemos hacer algo nuevo con eso.

Primero coloreamos la sal con las tizas y la metemos en las botellas. Como éramos cinco grupos, cada grupo hizo una botella y el resultado final fue muy bonito.

La segunda manualidad era hacer dragones con rollos de papel higiénico. Los niños se volvieron locos con esta, haciendo ruidos de dragón y corriendo, les gustó.
