PETROGLYPHS IN BARBANZA

Hoy ha sido un día muy intercultural. Hemos tenido la gran suerte de contar con la ayuda de Manuel, una persona humilde y muy sabia. Él es historiador y profesor y nos ha enseñado todos los petroglifos que hay en la sierra de Barbanza. Al ser de día no pudimos verlos muy bien ya que el sol hacía sombra y no se podían apreciar las formas, la mejor hora es por la noche. Pero él con unas bolsas de plástico y un permanente nos fue dibujando las formas y pudimos ver ciervos, círculos concéntricos, espirales, lanzas, cruces.

Today has been a very cross-cultural day. We have been very fortunate to have the help of Manuel, a humble and very wise person. He is a historian and professor and has shown us all the petroglyphs in the Barbanza mountain range. As it was during the day we could not see them very well because the sun was casting a shadow and we could not appreciate the shapes, the best time is at night. But with some plastic bags and a perm he was drawing the shapes and we could see deer, concentric circles, spirals, spears, crosses.
