For a cleaner Camino!

?? So…starting to settle up in our new home with the team and the time has come for our first activity on the Camino! Clean-up on the Camino Primitivo starting from Cádavo and taking the way backwards to Fonsagrada in search for trash and everything that doesn’t belong in the Camino. The pleasant surprise was that we didn’ t find too much trash but some of them were really hard to collect, mostly plastic stuck under the ground being there for a long time apparently. In our attempt to take it out it fell apart into many small pieces making really hard to pick up all of them. But we did the best we could and before taking the way back we rewarded ourselves with some traditional galician delicacies-rosquillas de anís! We divided the trash into categories in order to recycle them leading our first clean-up to its end!

?? Aquí estamos… ¡empezando a instalarnos en nuestro nuevo hogar con el grupo y ha llegado el momento de nuestra primera actividad en el Camino! Limpieza en el Camino Primitivo, partiendo de Cádavo y siguiendo el camino de regreso a Fonsagrada en busca de basura y todo lo que no pertenece al Camino. La agradable sorpresa fue que no encontramos demasiada basura, pero algunas de ellas eran realmente difíciles de recolectar, en su mayoría plásticos atrapados debajo del suelo, que aparentemente estuvieron allí durante mucho tiempo.

En nuestro intento de sacarlo, se deshizo en muchos pedazos pequeños, lo que hizo que fuera muy difícil recogerlos todos. Pero lo hicimos lo mejor que pudimos y antes de emprender el camino de vuelta nos premiamos con unas delicias gallegas tradicionales: ¡rosquillas de anís!

Dividimos la basura en categorías para reciclarlas y llevar nuestra primera limpieza a su fin
