A Weekend in Neda/ Un fin de semana en Neda

This weekend I went to Neda. The first place I visited there was Miradoir de Ancos. It was a 2h 30min (11km) walk away from our apartment in Ferrol. It was nice walking there because I found shadows on the streets to protect me from the hot sun and bright sunlight. The hardest part was climbing up. When I was walking to the top it was so unbearably hot and I drank all my water and had to make several stops on the way. Then I finally reached my destination and took some pictures. There was a beautiful view from the top, totally worth the climb.

After that I went to Fervenza de Belelle/Rio Belelle which was 1h 15 (5,3km) walk away from the observation platform. On the way there I saw such beautiful views- mountains, flowers and forests. There was a breathtaking waterfall at Rio Belelle. I took a lot of pictures, but it was not the same as what I saw in real life. The pictures are not even close to being that beautiful as it was in real life. There were quite a lot of people. They were all taking pictures of the beautiful view, some of them were sunbathing and even swimming there. The water drops were flying in the air and it created a rainbow and also gave some cooling on the hot day. After that I walked back to the apartment in Ferrol.

It was nice to discover new places in Neda, and to see the waterfall. We have one waterfall about 15-20 min drive away from my home in Estonia, but the one here in Neda was totally different. In total, I walked 30km this day and I am really happy with that. The great thing is that my legs didn’t even hurt the next day.

Este fin de semana fui a Neda. El primer lugar que visité allí fue el Miradoir de Ancos. Fueron 2h 30min (11km) andando desde nuestro apartamento en Ferrol. Fue agradable caminar allí porque encontré sombras en las calles para protegerme del sol caliente y la luz del sol brillante. La parte más difícil fue subir. Cuando estaba caminando hacia la cima, hacía un calor insoportable y bebí toda mi agua y tuve que hacer varias paradas en el camino. Entonces finalmente llegué a mi destino y tomé algunas fotos. Había una hermosa vista desde la cima, valió la pena subir.

Después de eso, fui a Fervenza de Belelle/Rio Belelle, que estaba a 1h 15 (5,3 km) a pie de la plataforma de observación. En el camino vi vistas tan hermosas: montañas, flores y bosques. Había una cascada impresionante en Rio Belelle. Tomé muchas fotos, pero no era lo mismo que vi en la vida real. Las imágenes ni siquiera están cerca de ser tan hermosas como lo fueron en la vida real. Había bastante gente. Todos estaban tomando fotografías de la hermosa vista, algunos de ellos estaban tomando el sol e incluso nadando allí. Las gotas de agua volaban en el aire y crearon un arcoíris y también refrescaron un poco el día caluroso. Después de eso caminé de regreso al apartamento en Ferrol.

Fue agradable descubrir nuevos lugares en Neda y ver la cascada. Tenemos una cascada a unos 15-20 minutos en coche de mi casa en Estonia, pero la de aquí en Neda era totalmente diferente. En total, caminé 30 km este día y estoy muy feliz con eso. Lo bueno es que al día siguiente ni siquiera me dolían las piernas.
