?? Past weeks have been really productive and challenging. I feel like I have overcame some of my fears during some activities. These weeks have been very memorable.

We did activities with summer camp children again. We made a workshop about recycleing and composting to the children. We gave them stickers of different things, such as paper, eggshells, juice boxes etc and they had to put the sticker to the right container. I was really surprised how smart the kids are. They are so young, but they managed to put almost all the stickers to the right container. After the workshop/game, we made bookmarks for the piligrims. We used recycled materials to create beautiful and original bookmarks. Overall this workday was really productive and funny. We got to spend time with kids and make something great together.

Another important event of the last week was intercultural show cooking.  All five of us prepared some famous dish from our homeland. We also prepared speeches and powerpoints about our countries and about our dishes. This was really challenging since we had to do it in spanish. We practised our performances several times, but still, when the time came to go and give a speech in front of the people I was really nervous. Overall our show cooking was a huge success and I am so proud of us. I am really happy that we did it.

Last thing I want to say is that I have gained so many good memories from the past weeks. I am so proud of everything we have accomplished and I am looking forward to the activities in the last week.

?? Las últimas semanas han sido realmente productivas y desafiantes. Siento que he superado algunos de mis miedos durante algunas actividades. Estas semanas han sido muy memorables.

Volvimos a hacer actividades con los niños del campamento de verano. Hicimos un taller sobre reciclaje y compostaje a los niños. Les dimos pegatinas de diferentes cosas, como papel, cáscaras de huevo, cajas de jugo, etc. y tenían que poner la etiqueta en el contenedor correcto. Me sorprendió mucho lo inteligentes que son los niños. Son muy jóvenes, pero lograron poner casi todas las pegatinas en el contenedor correcto. Después del taller/juego, hicimos marca-páginas para los peregrinos. Usamos materiales reciclados para crear hermosos y originales marca-páginas. En general, este día de trabajo fue muy productivo y divertido. Tenemos que pasar tiempo con los niños y hacer algo grandioso juntos.

Otro evento importante de la última semana fue el show cooking intercultural. Los cinco preparamos algún plato famoso de nuestros lugares de origen. También preparamos charlas y powerpoints sobre nuestros países y sobre nuestros platos. Esto fue realmente desafiante ya que teníamos que hacerlo en español. Practicamos nuestras exposiciones varias veces, pero aun así, cuando llegó el momento de ir y dar un discurso frente a la gente, estaba realmente nervioso. En general, nuestro show cooking fue un gran éxito y estoy muy orgulloso de nosotros. Estoy muy feliz de que lo hayamos hecho.

Lo último que quiero decir es que he ganado tantos buenos recuerdos de las últimas semanas. Estoy muy orgulloso de todo lo que hemos logrado y espero con ansias las actividades de la última semana.
