Volunteering in Albergue de Pelegrins Arzua

For the last 2 weeks we have had the pleasure of volunteering in Albergue de Pelegrins Arzua. It has been an amazing experience. The pilgrims and the staff at the albergue are all so friendly and warm. We have helped in the reception, stamping their credentials and making the check-in progress faster as well as in the back, showing the pilgrims to their rooms and helping them with any other questions. This albergue gets a lot of pilgrims every day. It has 56 spots in total and gets mostly filled every night.

The second Albergue we volunteer at is the Albergue de Peregrinos Ribadiso. It is located in the middle of nature in a really beautiful spot. In the 1500´s it was used as a hospital for the pilgrims. Back then it was named San Anton hospital. It is probably one of the most picturesque Albergues out there.

Durante las últimas 2 semanas hemos tenido el placer de hacer voluntariado en el Albergue de Pelegrins Arzua. Ha sido una experiencia increíble. Los peregrinos y el personal del albergue son muy amables y cálidos. Hemos ayudado en la recepción, sellando sus credenciales y agilizando el check-in, así como en la parte trasera, mostrando a los peregrinos sus habitaciones y ayudándoles con cualquier otra duda. Este albergue recibe muchos peregrinos todos los días. Tiene 56 lugares en total y se llena casi todas las noches.

El segundo Albergue en el que somos voluntarios es el Albergue de Peregrinos Ribadiso. Se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza en un paraje realmente hermoso. En el 1500 fue utilizado como hospital para los peregrinos. En ese entonces se llamaba hospital de San Antón. Es probablemente uno de los Albergues más pintorescos que existen.
