When I’ll be old I wanna be partially like you. Partially because we do know that our differences are mainly coming from our generation gap. Partially because the different societies we lived, have shaped our values and beliefs. But, despite the importance of these principles, we were able to build up a bridge in between us.

• 2 mugs full of cheap wine, 2 seats and a table with your beloved charcuteriet. Of course you felt a bit insulted for me denying your offer over it, but you know these new generations nowadays eating “just grass” for some reasons.

I have been mostly listening to your stories with the aim of trying to understand which type of pilgrim I was having in front of me. But then, everything got more clear with an answer of yours.

“Are u asking me how I feel about my different experiences on the Camino?.. Every single time all change.. The sky, the people I met, the food, the albérgue and along with them myself.. There is not just one myself, but many shades of me”

Cuando sea mayor quiero parecerme un poco a ti.  En parte porque sabemos que nuestras diferencias provienen principalmente de nuestra brecha generacional.  En parte porque las diferentes sociedades en las que vivimos han moldeado nuestros valores y creencias.  Pero, a pesar de la importancia de estos principios, pudimos construir un puente entre nosotros.

2 tazas llenas de vino barato, 2 asientos y una mesa con tu querida charcutería.  Por supuesto que te sentiste un poco insultado porque yo rechacé tu oferta de la charcutería, pero sabes que estas nuevas generaciones hoy en día comen “solo hierba” por algunas razones.

Estuve escuchando sus historias principalmente con el objetivo de tratar de entender qué tipo de peregrino tenía frente a mí.  Pero luego, todo quedó más claro con una respuesta suya.

“¿Me estás preguntando cómo me siento acerca de mis diferentes experiencias en el Camino?… Cada vez todo cambia… El cielo, la gente que conocí, la comida, el albergue y junto con ellos yo mismo… No hay un solo yo, pero muchas sombras de mí”
