Geocaching and pilgrims

??  Few weeks ago in Neda’s office we did some cool stuff – we planned and prepared everything for 

treasure hunters!  I’m talking about  “Geocaching” – activity that you can try in your leisure time. One reason why we came up with this idea was –  some pilgrims mentioned that there are not a lot of options to do at their laisure time in Neda, especialy if  arrive quite early in the morning. So we decided to change that and i thinh we are 

moving in the right direction – now in Neda have one new geocache. That won’t be the last one, we are planning to create some more geocaches in Pontedeume, stay tuned!

A little bit about (GC). It is an extremely interesting and active activity in the open air with the help of the Internet, GPS or other navigation devices, it’s widely known in the whole world. The aim of the game is to find coded points in both cities and countryside, where a container is hidden with a letter to the finder from previous lucky winners. Basically pretty simple, but not really, because it can get complicated and that makes the game more fun. For example there have been given riddles about these points, various ciphers, sometimes even knowledge of history and languages are necessary, and so on to find the cache. You can even hide one of your own.

?? Hace unas semanas en la oficina de Neda hicimos algunas cosas geniales: planeamos y preparamos todo para una ¡caza de tesoros! Estoy hablando de “Geocaching”, actividad que puedes probar en tu tiempo libre. Una de las razones por las que se nos ocurrió esta idea fue que algunos peregrinos mencionaron que no hay muchas opciones para hacer en su tiempo libre en Neda, especialmente si llegan muy temprano en la mañana. Así que decidimos cambiar eso y creo que estamos avanzando en la dirección correcta: ahora en Neda tenemos un nuevo “geocaché”. Ese no será el último, estamos planeando crear más en Pontedeume, ¡estad atentos!

Un poco sobre (GC). Es una actividad muy interesante y activa al aire libre con la ayuda de Internet, GPS u otros dispositivos de navegación, es ampliamente conocida en todo el mundo. El objetivo del juego es encontrar puntos codificados tanto en las ciudades como en el campo, donde se esconde un contenedor con una carta para el participante de parte de los afortunados ganadores anteriores. Básicamente bastante simple, pero no realmente, porque puede complicarse y eso hace que el juego sea más divertido. Por ejemplo, se han dado acertijos sobre estos puntos, varios de ellos cifrados, a veces incluso el conocimiento de la historia y los idiomas son necesarios, etc. para encontrar el tesoro escondido. Incluso puedes ocultar uno propio.
